Set up metadata or content classifications

Metadata refers to setting up basic configurations in order to better categorize your content assets.

Metadata is a very important aspect of strategic content marketing and allows you do define the entire context for the what, why, how, when, and where of your overall content marketing strategy.

For example, this is the step where you define your high-level content topics, formats you plan to cover, the various content themes you wish to deploy, the personas you wish to target, and so on.

Once defined, you can attach this meta data to your imported assets and then run deep-dive reports on content performance based on a variety of metrics.
