Asset Planner Introduction

This document provides an overview of the various sections of Asset Planner tool. The Asset Planner is the central place to review all information relating to individual assets. The tool has multiple sections as outlined in sections below

-This is the title of the asset being prepared.

-The Quick Links section provides quick links to a number of common tasks including viewing a list of all assets, adding new ones and so on.

-This section outlines the current task in the overall workflow process

-Before a user can make any changes to an asset, he must activate the Task by clicking on Start Task. This marks the start time of the task in our backend. To finish a task, a user must explicitly mark the task as complete. This will allow us to record the elapsed time per step and is used later in advanced content analysis

-The section highlighted below outlines the asset level details around who requested the task, when and expected completion date. The  expected completion date is calculated based on due dates of individual tasks and using the assumption that tasks are completed sequentially.

-The section here outlines details of the current task.

-Users with Admin privileges or  User who created the task can reassign the task to someone other than the original assignee.

-This indicates the due date for task. Tasks that are past due date are shown in red. Others in green

-The Status History section shows the history of status changes within the workflow. As the asset passes through various stages, the start/end times are recorded here and we also calculate the step completion time and also the overall asset completion time.

-This section shows the original idea from which this asset was created. Clicking on the idea link will take the user to the relevant idea with full details of notes/comments added as part of initial ideation process.

-If asset briefs and documents were added at the time of asset creation, then they can be seen here and downloaded (subject to permissions)

-The section here outlines the various asset details including associated Campaign, Offering, Persona etc. Users with the right permission can go to the Asset edit page from within this panel and make edits as appropriate.

-User who is assigned the current task, and asset owners can both upload versions from this section as long as the asset has not been completed. Notice that this can only be done once a task is started by explicitly clicking on Start Task.

The comments section allows user within the workflow to collaborate by adding comments on various task steps. Planner can be viewed by anyone but only users who are assigned one or more tasks within the asset workflow can add comments. Asset Owner or users with Admin privileges have the option to disable comments at any point
